Just a random idea that popped into my head with playoffs around the corner.. i was thinking that teams that haven't had as good of a season this year and may not make the playoffs to participate by predicting playoff winners like real life analysts... for any matchup they want in each round they can pick a winner and if they guess the correct winner AND how many games it takes for the team to win they get a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick or something. The difficulty it takes to win the pick is fair because they have to guess how many games it takes as well but i think its a good way to keep other teams active throughout the playoffs. Also maybe to avoid someone who is really good or lucky at predicting and end up getting like 4 2nd round picks, there could be a limit of matchups they want to predict... What do y'all think?

you would need less prizes. cant be handing out a ton of random picks.
should allow like a 3rd for the winner of round one. a +1 to a mlu for round 2 a +1 to a mpu for round 3 a 1m discount to any player signed in ufa for round 4 (after signings are done the gm can announce who he wants the discount on)
you also need to find a way to deal with tie breaks.

I think the system for waivers could work for the tiebreak, the team that was lower in the standings gets the win?

Pretty good idea, and I like what mazurka added. The only problem is that it would slow down sims. I would only be able to post a round a day, then we'd have to give guys atleast 24 hours to post their predictions. So I'm not sure really?

More sims. Not everyone would be interested/active enough for it to be worth slowing down for, better to just get the playoffs done

Maybe we could do just the first round. It would be something atleast.
