Retention is because I didn't want to move Tuch because I really liked his contract so Kruze is paying for just below the difference (.25M kept because of overall difference).

Kruze and I were basically arguing over him including the .25M and before we could come to a final resolution that made us both happy he vanished. Since the deadline is coming up shortly and with this deal I'd need to update my MPUs I'm deciding to post this now, the way he liked it so when he is finally online again he will accept it.

We've been over this lol. Without the retention I'd rather keep Tuch because of his contract's value to my long term plans.

I honestly agree with WPG. They’re the same age, and you’re getting +2. He SHOULD cost more. It’s not a bad contract at all. Don’t see need for retention

My reasoning is I can easily upgrade Tuch to an 88 by the beginning of next season. Kruze really wanted Tuch but I didn't want to move him because of his contract and won't move him unless I'm getting something big in return. Thus we came up with the retention. Kruze gets his guy, I get an upgrade and a comparable contract that costs a bit more and is also a year shorter.

Ehlers can be an 88 as well lol. My point is I didn't want to move the contract, he wanted the player so we compromised.
