Simming poll

Please vote. There has been a lot of discussion as to how guys want to see the sims going forward. Currently, the system is posting full box scores for each game and full player stats and standings each month.

Our simmer said that he is fine either way but he said it would be nice not to have to post full box scores as I assume, it gets pretty tedious.

I personally would like to see the season go a little quicker and don't really care for box scores. I like seeing stats and standings and that is what I look for and change my team accordingly. I know some of your older guys love full box scores. Why do you like them and what would change if you didn't get them?

Yes, it gets asked but never happens as it means the end of the league if it happens. Many people will quit if it goes to no box scores.

But you have a lot of new people that haven't been around this for the 20 years that some of us have. You might have enough people stay to have a good league still

Just do Boxscores without the stats every month, just league leaders and you're good

Box scores is the time consuming part

That’s literally what sim leagues are, seeing the game by game stats. I think posting full team stats every month isn’t needed

Hard to make changes if we have no clue how our individual players are simming. Just seeing blanket things like "Team doing good" "Team doing bad" "Team not scoring enough" can give you a sense of what needs to change, but you have no clue what exactly is working and what isn't. I'd be fine with no box scores if individual player stats were posted something like bi-weekly. But I don't want to just throw a month away because a line combo I put together isn't clicking, or one of my top end players gets injured for a period time and I have no time to adjust my lines/make moves accordingly. What I'd suggest is simming 2 weeks at a time and posting player stats at the end of it.

Another possible solution is that one of us with a PS4 helps out miiko by having him sim, then send someone screenshots of the boxscores through PS and they can post it to the site while he keeps simming. If he wants to try something like that out for next sim I'd be willing to help out.

I would like the 2 week sim in a day and then full individual player stats so we have a chance to make changes etc

What about taking screenshots of all the box scores and pasting the screenshots in a google doc under the scores. Would cut the time in half or more, and gets around not being able to attach pictures here.

Everyone would have to have a google account to see the doc tho.
