First of all, congrats to the Dallas Stars for winning the Season One Stanley Cup. They really had an incredible run, going 18-6.
Now, the plan....
The Draft We are starting the draft immediatly. It'll be a thread draft, meaning when it's your turn to draft, you have 12 hours to post your pick. (12am to 7am does not count) If you come online, you have 1 hour to pick, if you don't, I assume you didn't pay attention to the draft, and you will get auto'd, best player available. Other leagues have had slow thread drafts lately, but I think we are active enough that it should go by fairly quick. I highly suggest you send me your draft lists, so if you arent online when your pick comes up, I can draft on your behalf. This will speed up drafting a ton (especially if you plan to pick best player available anyways)
Stats Over the next 2 days, I will be posting the stat leaders and player stats for every team. This will help you guys to see how players performed this season, to help your decisions with upgrades and who to go after in free agency.
Re-Signings Guys, if you haven't sent in your offers to PR yet, you had better do it NOW!! Deadline for re-signings is midnight (pacific) on Friday. If you miss the deadline, all of your unsigned players will go to free agency... (that's a bad thing). So get on it!
Free Agency Free agency is set to start on Saturday, and finish on Sunday. So try to be here on the weekend. PR Will keep in tough with everyone, and tell us when we can start sending UFA offers in. (Likely early Saturday morning)
Upgrades The MLU and MPU threads are already posted. Make sure to submit them ASAP. The rules for both upgrade types are posted in the threads. Deadline for these to be submitted is Friday at Midnight (pacific). If you don't get them in, I will chose them for you, and you probably won't like who I pick, so get it done! The Upgrade thread for drafted rookies is posted aswell, so if you draft someone, please post your upgrades in the thread. Even if you have no boosters, please post his name, and say +0, so I know what's up with that rookie.
