Sharks New Captain

With Joe Thornton being injured until June, the San Jose Sharks have named Joe Pavelski the Captain of the team while Thornton is hurt.

"Joe is a tremendous leader and player on our team. With Thornton being out long term, Pavs will step up and lead this team to victory".

Logan Couture, Brent Burns, and Mike Knuble have been named Alternates for the season.
