Giving Minnesota a better 2nd goalie while Wally develops, plus Terry who is a really good depth forward who can maybe grow to be a top 6 guy. Main point of this trade is to help him move Dumba so he can play the 77 OFD he just drafted. Vlasic can pair with him as a DFD to develop him and give back some needed cap since he has like 25M in space.

He just got Casey from the draft. Right now Casey wouldn't even fit into his roster. Moving Dumba is a good idea for him. If you'd like to suggest what I can add, go ahead.

Yeah, but there’s free agents that are better than that. This guys is new. If Dumba were being actively shopped he could get more. The MIN franchise has had a bad track record of trading really good players, and then bailing. It’s obviously a different guy, but I’m just sayin. He should maybe shop him a bit, or get a feel for value before shipping Dumba off for peanuts

hey hey, I'm just saying, it's a justifiable trade. If I were rebuilding and didn't have a future goalie or anything, I'd probably do something along those lines.

The difference between Kahkonen and Konovalov is negligible really. Not worth trading a stud D, RD no less, in his prime
