Ok, this whole Joub shadow running EDM is gonna stop. If he wants a team, he is more than welcome to pick one up. But he said he was so disgusted he didn’t want to be a part of this league. But now he’s running trades for EDM? That’s kinda BS. Take a team, or move on
And EDM, you’re my discord buddy, and I’m happy to have you here, but you kinda need to start being a part or maybe relinquish your team. I’m not trying to be a jerk or anything, but you’re not even doing your signings, or apparently even doing your own trades. I know people that are actually in the league have offered you help. Yeah, I should probably clarify a bit. I’ve got no issue with people asking for advice/help on trades and value. But I was just kinda getting the impression he wasn’t really taking part at all in the negotiations

I have zero interest in seeing Retro's name every time I log in. I told you my conditions for me running a team here and you decided to keep him in the league.
As for helping somebody that asks for it, who am I to reject? At least when I tell him to accept or reject a trade I have reasoning behind it which I'm hoping he's learning from.
You think I want anything to do with rockem though? No, I want nothing to do with a league that allowed a racist/homophobic pos to continue to participate on their site, same reason I left hockleague.
Hockeyist asks me for help so I help, I'm not going to reject him just because of my own personal reasons for not being on the site.
If you got issues with me Miiko then you can talk to me directly, as for making hockeyist pay for it because he takes my advice, that's not fair to him.

I have no issues when anyone asking for help on trades/value. I was getting the impression (I’m not the only one) that people were dealing with you directly. If that’s true, that’s pretty lame. If you want to run a team, run a team. If this place makes you uncomfortable because of what a 14-15 year old said to you, on a platform I can’t control, that’s definitely something you can do.
I never said thehockeyist was going to “pay” for anything. I simply want the GMs that ARE here, to participate, and at least make a case for their proposed trade if people question it. Hard to do if it’s you making the deals

There were conditions agreed upon between the Admins on HLS for Retro to continue as a member on the site or face an irreversible ban. Retro apologized to you in a private PM on HLS between all the admins and you and he was allowed to continue. If you honestly cannot see the guy was stupid enough to call you those names, then remove yourself completely from this site too. Ever since this incident, Retro has been active and has learned from his mistakes. Have to give people second chances to prove they are aware they are wrong, if not, then how are we ever to grown as a society. If you can't use your own voice to help others realize they are wrong and help them grow, then you are only attributing the initial problem, which is immature. Look how poorly I handled the last Era of HLS, it was a disaster and the only reason for that was through my own spiteful actions and no one else. Now the GMs that are there are hopefully enjoying it and can see the changes I have made as an admin of a sim site. Without their ability to look forward, HLS wouldn't exist right now. I know it hurt what he said to you, it was truly disgusting, but be the bigger person and learn to forgive and move on acknowledging the constant apologies and the changes Retro has made since then. Spite will only devour you from the inside out, trust me I have been there. Just release all this hate and learn to love, it will help you grow as a individual in the real world too. |

I hate to say it, guys...it seems like you can write all you want, Joub isn't changing his views. If Edmonton wants to ask Joub for help, do it. My thought is the guy at least is showing effort by asking for the help... 1. thehockeyist - to stay in the league and keep the volunteer admins happy, be respectful and at least keep your damn roster up to date before making trades. 2. Carolina Hurricanes GM and other admins - if someone continually doesn't do their job as GM, they should be fired. I'd say you have the right to make Edmonton do his job or he loses it... 3. Vegas Golden Knights GM - if you don't want to be involved in this league, don't help your buddy with this league. Seems a lot easier to say no to your buddy then write up reasons why you hate this league. |

Your opinion has been expressed. We get it. You think we should ban a 15 year old for something they said to you on a different site, about a different league. Here at Rockem we took a different approach, and tried to see if we could work things out. You didn’t like it, and as stated here made your “conditions” known. I don’t know what more you want to say about it. We sure as shit don’t condone any of that stuff here, and I’d appreciate if you stopped saying it. It isn’t true. We took it seriously. We just didn’t happen to agree with what you specifically wanted done. Which was blanket ban off all sim sites. And it sounds like Hockleague took a very similar approach, having him give you an apology, a public apology, and if anything happened again, he was done. And it wasn’t something come to by 1 person. Multiple people had input here. We pretty much all agreed that was the best course of action. Just let it go |
