Boston's centers. Dobson sucked and was moved off of Boston literally this off-season. Really man? You're really gonna trade for Dobson with the NON-GM then trade Dobson right back when the team gets a GM?

Is the deal fair or not? That is your role. Boston GM has been around for awhile, maybe he wants to completely rehaul his team... those centers you listed don't have the potential to be a star like Cozens does

Yeah, I mean I think it’s a bad trade, but on paper it’s more than fine I think. Let’s give BOS a chance to make their roster how they see fit. @jeuk75 right now there seems to be a bit of an influx of C available, and D like Hughes are a little harder to come by just FYI

Lol if Cozens is so good then why are you so desperately trying to get rid of him? I didn't reject the trade... I just laid out the facts of the deal so Boston could examine them. Are you opposed to that?

I gave up a considerably better d-man for Dobson, mainly so I could lose cap lol. If I didn't do the Dobson trade originally then this is Lindholm 87 + Cozens 87 for Hughes... so thank you for pointing out that I'm getting absolutely destroyed by Boston in my last 2 deals lol

For fuck sakes people, just because guys are on the block, doesn't mean he sucks. I'm so fucking sick of that mindset. It's getting stupid how many people are rejecting trades becasue "so and so has been on your block for awhile"

I want to utilize his age and overall to get something I need, which is a young LHD. Right now, I got an 85 playing on my 4th line. I want to use my assets to get me something I need.

No, you can't do that since you already accepted the deal. It's up to the mods to decide. The deal is fine on paper, but I don't like RK's tactics, especially considering he's doing this stuff with new gms. He did it in IMS and it caused problems there, and now he's doing the same stuff in this league after those gms from IMS have migrated here. He also claimed you're an old gm, which isn't true. The dishonesty is what upsets me, not necessarily the deal on paper, though I think it's a bad move for your roster. Overall the deal is fine if you can move some other guys, though. So on paper it shouldn't be rejected.

Man this is what you do and it's why people get upset with you. If this wasn't a recurring theme then I wouldn't have said anything. But it's what caused a lot of problems in IMS. As soon as someone calls you out for something, you act as if it's their fault. Then you repeat whatever it was you got called out for, but you're the victim. I think all people want is for you to reflect on yourself a bit and see how your actions are affecting other people here. Like I said before, the deal itself is fine.

Do you not realize that this is just a game for fun. You're acting like I'm committing a crime. Literally the only fun thing about these sim leagues are the trading aspect. Mods are supposed to determine whether or not a deal is fair, not ask themselves "would I do this trade". 

Even though Bruins is new to this site, he's not really a new GM, I even thought I saw him on other leagues many years ago, but I may be wrong. I'm sick of the character attacks for doing what I've done on these things for 10 years, which is actively seek out trades. 

You're calling me out for doing what these leagues are made to do, which makes absolutely no sense. I'm not even taking advantage of anyone in this deal because Cozens is a beast, but I want to play Johnson over him (and have 3 other centers which can all be top liners). 

I simply find what GMs need (in this case Boston needed a guy who can become a top line center), and try to see if I can get something that matches my needs. Sorry if you think this is "taking advange of someone". 

I already allowed the guy to back out of the trade so fuck off with your need for me to "reflect on myself". It's a fucking game dude lol

I don’t really know what you mean by this tbh. Have you a lot of trades rejected here? I don’t think you have, let alone recently. 

The ONLY issue with this deal is BOS is brand new, and I just traded you Dobson. And they aren’t really issues 

The market really dictates value. People hate it when I say that, but it’s true. Lindholm only got you Dobson because it was a well known fact you were gonna use a compliance buyout on him. So BOS could give you an underwhelming D to fill a need, and you could clear space. 

Fact is Cozens is 87 at 23 on a good deal. It’s actually a fine deal. It only looks weird in context
