Man this is what you do and it's why people get upset with you. If this wasn't a recurring theme then I wouldn't have said anything. But it's what caused a lot of problems in IMS. As soon as someone calls you out for something, you act as if it's their fault. Then you repeat whatever it was you got called out for, but you're the victim. I think all people want is for you to reflect on yourself a bit and see how your actions are affecting other people here. Like I said before, the deal itself is fine. Do you not realize that this is just a game for fun. You're acting like I'm committing a crime. Literally the only fun thing about these sim leagues are the trading aspect. Mods are supposed to determine whether or not a deal is fair, not ask themselves "would I do this trade". Even though Bruins is new to this site, he's not really a new GM, I even thought I saw him on other leagues many years ago, but I may be wrong. I'm sick of the character attacks for doing what I've done on these things for 10 years, which is actively seek out trades. You're calling me out for doing what these leagues are made to do, which makes absolutely no sense. I'm not even taking advantage of anyone in this deal because Cozens is a beast, but I want to play Johnson over him (and have 3 other centers which can all be top liners). I simply find what GMs need (in this case Boston needed a guy who can become a top line center), and try to see if I can get something that matches my needs. Sorry if you think this is "taking advange of someone". I already allowed the guy to back out of the trade so fuck off with your need for me to "reflect on myself". It's a fucking game dude lol If it's just a game then what's up with everything you said on Discord? Whenever someone tries to help you, you take it as an insult. There's more to these leagues than just the trading aspect, anyway. Yeah, that's what you enjoy the most. But lying to new gms? And you're saying this is supposed to be about fun, but you don't seem to care about making it unfun for people like Duiz. |

Ok, I need both GMs to state where this at. I don’t even think I saw a reject.
@rk17 I don’t care how many sites they’re on. We gave Minny the same courtesy when he joined up. Dude is more than a experienced GM.
Getting a little annoyed that every time there is a discussion on a trade, a few of you act like it’s the end of the world. Just like you think someone is taking it too seriously posting a reject, maybe you’re taking it too seriously getting upset about the discussion? Just let it play out.
BOS normally you can’t really back out after it’s been posted unless the other GM says it’s ok. But it’s your first trade. But seriously man, this is MORE than fair. This discussion has nothing to do with this trade really
I stated from the very beginning, eventually I wanted to get to a point where trades between experienced GMs get through as long as they aren’t stupid. But everyone should know by now trades with Noobs (less than a couple days on site counts as a noob) and Non GM teams are gonna get WAYY over analyzed. It’s just the trade off

I dont think it'd be fair for the other GMs You’ve been around for the whole history of Ironman reboot you know what you’re doing. Mods are just ruining the fun of these leagues. If they want to run multiple teams to play franchise mode on nhl 21 or let gms do what they want to do whether it’s a risk or reward. It’s become an absolute joke |

You guys need to chill out, there is 0 reason a trade like this should garner this much heat
In a vacuum this trade is fine, just with the context of Bruins being new to this league, the shit around Dobson, and the current reality of the market is when it gets murky. Whether you want to accept or reject this you’ve got good reason to, but holy fuck we need to stop going at each others throats whenever a trade gets rejected

Alright, this is pretty much dead on account of BUF stepping down.
Just for some clarification
I signed on to kind of a shit show today. There was a lot of stuff going on, and a lot of notifications and messages. I was attempting to piece together wtf happened when this trade popped up.
We had 4 “new” GMs today, one returning and 3 “new”, to me anyway.
During the course of trying to figure out who everyone was, BUF posts a trade with one of the new guys for a player I had just said was off limits, for a guy I just traded him. So I don’t know who BOS is, people are messaging me about Iron. I just wanted to kinda see what was what.
This trade was fine. People are still welcome to post their opinion though. That’s kinda the point. It doesn’t need to devolve into a mess. And let’s not act like the sky is falling if there is a rejected trade. They are so few and far between. And are always with a guy who just joined or a non GM team
Also, for the record, I never wanted to let NON GM teams make moves at all. But I received some pressure for not allowing it. So I thought I’d try it out. It seems like that may have been part of the issue too
