I was kinda taking into consideration the commitment. Maybe WSH just wants to be rid of the contract. His number aren’t really that good

The double retainment on Bob's contract is kinda janky too, really. 🤷 Cuz whether his numbers are bad or not, that's still an 88 goalie that's only at a $5M cap hit. That's 3 teams paying his salary now. That just doesn't seem right to me.

I didn’t think retaining twice on the same contract was a thing, but I looked it up on cap friendly and they’ve got it listed as a rule the NHL uses.
