Hey all
Want to publicly apologize for the way things ended over on HLS.
There was blame placed on many different parties as to why the league folded so quickly and there were a lot of things going on at once which made the optics unhealthy.
However, there is only one person to blame and that is me.
My personal life was taking a beating and since I was spending so much energy and focus on the site, the negativity translated directly to all of you and ruined an experience that was once beneficial to all.
I have taken the last couple months to rebuild my personal life and have decided to give HLS another shot, since lets face it, NHL21 blows without a community to share it with.
If you are willing to give me and the site a second chance, you won't be disappointed. However, I understand most of you only have time and focus for one sim site, and I must admit I am happy to see this site doing so well. So no hard feelings if you can't make it back to HLS.
That being said, everyone is welcome back with a clean slate since I am asking for one myself (that includes you Kruze ha)
We currently have 9/25 GMs needed for REBOOT and if we don't reach 25 GMs by January 12th 2020 (hopefully sooner) then the site will be closed for good.

2. Is it still one admin doing everything?
3. Is the admin going to win basically every draft lottery again?
4. Is the admin going to censor and delete everything?
5. Is the admin going to listen to his members?

More of a "if you want to join then come and join, if you don't want to be part of it then don't be part of it" kinda statement. You were a valuable member at hockleague and did a ton to get new GMs, and could really help out if you came back and did it again. Jagrbombs said himself that he was the only person to blame for it closing, and (in my opinion) genuinely seems to have done some self reflection and is coming back with a better attitude about it. You asked valid questions and I tried to answer two of them. I can't blame you for being frustrated with the way it ended the first time, with the work you put in (I know I was too). Like I said before, all I ask is you give the guy a chance. |

I get the same issue, and I've never been in Hockleague. So unless the guy went and banned every account on this forum I don't think it's a banned account issue lol |

Los Angeles Kings GM Montreal Canadiens GM I saw this in a proboards support board, re: invalid request token on login: "When you load a page like the login page, a token is set associated with that page, which when submitted should match the criteria on the server. That kind of error usually appears if the page is loaded, and then they go to another tab which has a forum loaded, and do an action on that page where another token is loaded, then go back to the login page. The token will no longer match the criteria on the server. Does that sound like it may explain their issue? If they load the login page, enter the details immediately, and submit, do they get the same error?" Does that sound like your problem/solution? |

Ratings here were modified slightly on some players by PR. I imagine its default rosters over there, or he has adjusted ratings as well, just differently

I apologize that this is the impression you were left with, however I can assure you that it will be different this time around and it will only take time for you to see that since you don't trust my word. To answer your questions; 1-4: No 5 - Yes Appreciate all the work you did to get us members and it was really poor of me to handle the exit the way I did, however it happened and its part of the past now, and thats where I chose to leave it. Hope you can do the same and just look forward. Hope to see you back, if not, thanks for everything you did the last couple eras. You were a legitimate part of our success and clearly are a big part of the success here. |

So unless the guy went and banned every account on this forum I don't think it's a banned account issue lol You need to log out from this site in order to create an account on HLS, then you can link them and won't have the issue again. There are zero accounts blocked so its a link account issue for sure. Make sure to do this or the 'invalid token' message will always appear. |
